Need your help friends
You guys (and gals) have helped me out so much with this old van and I appreciate every tip/bit of advise you have given me...but I need another kind of help (no..not involving straight jackets and padded cells)!
My wife and I are adopting two little fellas from Eastern Europe, both have down syndrome and both will end up in a mental institution in the next year or two if they are not saved. See, this country gives them a chance till 4 yrs of age, then sends them to a mental institution to die (the average life expectancy after the institution is 4-6 months due to the mental anguish...they just give up living)
Anyway, they are changing their adoption laws this summer and thus we have been asked to push our adoption dates up. That leaves us way short of time for fundraising....and that's what I'm asking you for help in. We have started a $5 drive and ask that you spread it via facebook, email, asking the guy with the broken down chevy if he would rather invest in something worth while....you know.
