Automotive tech school
So I went to Lincoln Tech this weekend they had an open house. I talked to the admissions representative for about 2hours and gave me a tour of the school, it looks good but its 25k for their 12month program including books and everything else. Do you think its worth it? What do you guys think about this school? Right now im only working part-time and having trouble finding work. Right now I have a criminal justice associates degree, was taking police tests but I keep on ending up on the waiting lists. Any advice would be great.

Where about in IL are you? Rock Valley College in Rockford has a good 2 year automotive program. I went through it a few years back and got an apprenticeship at a Ford dealership through them. Even after I got hurt and couldn't work over my head anymore, one of the instructors went on to try and help me find a job I could do. Try checking them out.
