Two Tone

So, finally got the wife involved with the truck decision. I had settled on Lariat loaded less moon roof. I had stepped down from KR to save a couple of K and am just ok with the KR interior. Not worth is with the dogs IMHO.

BUT, she falls in love with the 2 tone paint. I thought at one time you could get the 2 tone on the Lariat? I don't see that in the build screen anymore.

Am I missing something?

My dads lariat is 2 tone, black and beige. Ordered it last fall. just checked and the two tone option is there, when you are choosing the color it gives you 2 or three selections on each color with the other ones being with the two tone

They don't have the 2 tone I want though, I would want the platinum white with tuxedo black on the bottom

I bought the KR and am very pleased. Looked at the Lariat Ultimate, etc. but the KR had everything I wanted. If you are looking to really load a Lariat with options, the KR is a good alternative.

two tone is still available. Build site has had problems the last two weeks. It is not letting you scroll all the way to bottom on interior and exterior options. Therefore you are only seeing half of them. If you double click on the color it will make it two tone.

You can get 2 tone on the Lariat. It's a $495 option. I think the only other paint option is the Pearl white for another $450 or so.

My Lariat is also 2 tone. Royal Red Metallic with Adobe accent. And of course as rickatic says you gotta have the limited edition 2-tone leather.

That's the same color combo I am looking at. Are the seats two-tone like the KR?

Another Lariat two-tone here as well. Oxford white with adobe lower. Oh, I also have the two-tone seats. Love the seats. Look good and very comfortable.

Another two-tone question. Doses the bottom color go around the wheel wells like the KR? On the web site it does not show that it does.........on the Lariat that is .....

KR seats are all leather, but aren't two-tone. Older lariats got the two-tone surfaces but aren't all leather. Newer lariats get monotone seats but still aren't all leather. That said, the stuff in the lariats is much easier to keep looking nice... and 99.999% of people (myself included) would never be able to tell the difference unless someone points it out.

I guess the logo-embossed patch on the upper part of the KR seats could be considered two-tone. I'm not sure that is what they were going for, though. In some light the colors are the same. HTH - I'm sure you'll be happy either way you go

I keep showing up over there to try and help guy's with questions about their trucks or fivers. The 6.0 Ford questions that are asked there should be asked on the FTE 6.0 forum. I always recommend the OP's come here for the answers.

The PM's I get over there thanking me for the help make the battles worth the trouble.

Regards
