2004 f250 sd 6.0 issues

my 2004 250sd is giving me some issues, engine chugging, loss of power, won't shift properly. this is a sporadic problem and comes and goes. i have owned the truck 1 year and have done the oil changes and fuel filters and air filter. can some one tell me whats next?

Go have it scanned for codes and report back with whatever codes are found. Autozone should be able to do it real quick for ya.
