3x2 intake

Does anyone sell manufacture/sell them anymore? Or do I have to find one on Ebay or somewhere else? It seems like Edelbrock has them listed in their catalog but I can't find anyone that sells them...

Thanks for the help,
Bravo

Bravo, at the present time, they are only available used. Edelbrock have them in the catalog but they aren't yet in production. I guess they want to get an idea about how much demand there is. Call or email Edelbrock directly to inquire about it just to show there is demand.

So can anyone tell me the diff between an offy and edelbrock 3x2 intake? Is one prefered over the other? I know there is two different edelbrocks, I believe the 553 has the larger runners designed for the 312?

Bravo, the 553 is the small port Edelbrock, optimally you would want the 573 Edelbrock for a 312 altho a 553 would be a good second choice. Stay away from the Offy, they don't flow as well and are a 360 deg design that tends to "puddle" in the lower intake runners, making those cylinders run rich. And of course, this is as always, just my 1¢ worth...

Side note; notice the edelbrock part #'s 553=1955 three carb, 573=1957 three carbs.

Thanks again for the info... I'm building a 272 that I plan on punching out to 292... so I assume I could use either one if I come across one... nice side note... will make it easy to remember which is which...

What size or model of Holley 2100 is used on a 3X2 setup, .94, 1 or 1 1/16? Their CFMs range from 155 to 185. Also, is an ECG 6 with automatic hot air choke something that would be possible for the center carb?
