Stalls at red lights?

Stalls at red lights?
HAHA...i cant help but laugh.....so i have had a problem recently with my 79 351M 2wd f100, auto, stalling at red lights. I thought the warmer weather would be good cause it has to warm up or it stalls when first put in drive in the cold. But now, even after it is warmed up, it will stall at red lights and stuff if i sit for longer than like 30seconds...and even worse, it will not start back up until i let it sit for like 5mins. or so...very frustrated with this problem, but i dont know what it could be.... Any ideas?

Don't stop at the red lights,ha ha, no ,don't listen to me just kidding. Do you smell a lot of gas fumes like it may be trying to flood out ? How about the choke,is it opening up after warmup ?
