Starting question

Hey Guys,
I got my first PSD a couple of weeks ago and have been faithfully waiting for the "wait to start" light to go out before starting. A couple of times though I have just jumped in and started it w/out thinking about it. It seemed to start up just as quickly. Is this hurting anything? Do I need to wait for the glow plugs if the weather is warm?

Starting question

It will let you know if it needs the plugs, if the engine temp is still at the right temperature it will start right up.

Thanks, that's kind of what I thought. The only thing is that when I have started it quickly has been first thing in the morning when the engine is totally cold. Just want to make sure I am not damaging anything.
