Can I Pull This Thing?

I am looking at an ad in the classifieds for a trailer, and by it's description it sounds too big, but for the price, I am very interested and hoping it would work. Can I pull this?

Trailer: car or 5-6 round bales. new tires, pulls easily. 6 wheels.

I have an 88 F150 XLT Lariat with the 5.0 EFI M5OD. It is a 4X4 and has dual shocks in front and manual hubs with 3.55 open diffs. I have it set up for electric brake, so that is not a problem. I just don't want the truck to be overloaded just by hooking up to a trailer.

If this is too big, what would be the larged trailer I can handle with my truck? I would like to find a car hauler that can handle a
full size car if need calls for it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can I Pull This Thing?

How much does the trailer itself weigh, and how much does the car you'll haul weigh? If the combined weight is more than your truck is rated for, then the trailer is too heavy. Find your GCWR, subtract your curb weight & the weight of the car, and that's the most the trailer should weigh.

BTW Do you have the same kind of hitch on your truck that the trailer uses?
