Sorry if I came off as a jerk...... don't really care to continue this discussion.... but at least the ROCKER COVERS make it LOOK like a good engine
IMO you didn't come off as a jerk, you just over reacted to some guys trying to teach you something. Come on, you had a MOD that wears a bra helping you. Do you really think he was trying to rattle your cage?
When I first joined I made the same mistake about the 400. Easily done, and easily fixed.
Thing about a forum is you can read into people's responses.
The only one IMO that made a stupid post was 2007.
Have a look guys. The original poster has cracked it with all the know it alls over this m prefix drama and finished his post with no help whatsoever. I don't think he got one decent post over this, only people sticking up for him. Johhson tried injecting a bit of irony (or was it sarcasm) to shake every one up and it still hasn't stopped. It didn't take 6 different people to **** on about that M thing. There were too many showing off instead of helping the guy with what he was after in the first place. Let common sense prevail and that's my 2 cents worth. Give it a rest everyone as I think this post is dead and gone
Man are you off base. First off he wasn't asking for help, he was selling a 400 engine. The other two wrong in this thread are you and johnson. All the OP had to do was agree about the naming of the engine, no M, and everyone would have moved on. After all, the ones pointing out the lack of a M are correct. But let's not the facts get in the way of a good rant by you.

well he was. He was asking if any one wanted it wasn't he? Tell me how I was wrong. I know it isn't an M anymore as I wrote earlier. And as for agreeing with every one he didn't get much of a chance if the first page of the posts are anything to go by. Facts are obviously how they are interpreted by some and Im kicking my self for even responding. Just because some-ones right doesn't always mean they need to tell every one. I will concede there was a good post about the nomenclature on the engines, very informative and handy for the noobs.
I had a very low milage 400..... had no need for it, thought I would test the waters and see if there was anyone near by that might be interested.... Apparently there was not.... just a bunch of people that had to jump my *** for tacking an "M" on to the nomenclature of that solid, but rediculously over smogged and under powered lump of iron. I did retaliate in spite, to the first responder..... then all hell broke loose.....
