So im sure this is a pretty well beaten topic but i have yet to find some info im in need of. I have an 05 6.o and its 2wd. Im not really too fond of the way it sits up front, so im thinking about a leveling kit. The only things ive found for a 2wd are 2 inch kits. Is there any company or place that sells anything bigger? I would like to get more but im assuming theres a reason im only finding 2 inch kits. Any thoughts and/or opinions will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
2 inches will lift the front, so it will be level with the back. You can go this way, or you can use a higher weight rated spring if there is one available. Front coil springs van get soft, new springs might be a good solution for 2 wheel drive.
with the stiffer springs could you also do the 2 inch kit? and also are the stiffer springs going to stiffen up the ride? it just seems to me that 2 inches wont level the truck. from level ground to the center of the wheel well arc, the measurements are 4 inches apart.
