some one please help me!

i have a 2003 6.0 psd. when im driving the truck its fine no odd noises at all. when i stop at a light or stop anywhere while in gear the oil pressure gauge goes to zero, if i tap the throttle its returns but eventually goes back to zero if stopped. also when i got home, i stopped the truck in gear the pressure went to zero, then when put in park it returned to normal...... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

btw my dash says CHECK GAUGE

Probably just a sensor issue that is monitoring oil pressure. If you truely had no oil pressure, your truck would shut down.

I've had a Glow Shift Fuel pressure gauge for a year with no problems..

i got there egt boost and volt (volt was just to fill in the third spot) and there all very satisfying, i might go ahead and get the oil pressure

if a new sending unit dose not fix it suspect a pump failer on an 03/04.

If the low pressure pump is failing, wouldn't have a cascade effect on the HPOP? If there's no oil supplied to the HPOP then the engine can't fire the injectors....right?

Or are you saying that the low pressure pump maybe able to supply enough volume to keep the HPOP going, just not enough pressure to move the OEM gauge? Just trying to understand these things a little bit more everyday.
