muffler ?
Hey guys i got a 2000 x v10. I'm looking for a good mellow sounding muffler. What do u guys recommend? An does a single or dual outlet muffler sound better? I don't want something loud just a good rumble. Thanks

i'm running a straight pipe on my v10 and i love it. but its not for everyone.
alot of people like the flowmaster 70s and 50s. i also ran a dynomax super turbo which was pretty mild but gave alittle rumble.

I have used several muflers and no mufler! In my opinion the V10 just doesn't sound good no matter what's done. I ended going with a big body stainless Magnaflow single 3in. In to 2 x 3inch out to behind the rear wheels ending with 4 inch Stainless tips. Looks great but not much louder than stock. Sounds good when you get on it or going up a hill. Funny thing was I noticed A bit better mpg.

yep ak96 is me.
sound is all up to the person. alot of people dont like the sound of the v10. i personaly love it. its alittle different but deep IMO.

Ok cool. So did u like the dynomax? An how loud was it under toque like towing and stuff. I dont wanna have to listen to a loud rumble all the to the beach pulling a camper lol.

the dynomax was very subtle, no different inside then stock. thats one reason i'm running no muffler now. i like the loudness of it now..still not annoying which is the funny part lol

I have the same Magnaflow. It's sounds ok. It does drone ata least mine does at around 35-40 MPH. On the Highway it's fine.
