Turn Signal's
so, ive asked before on her and i was told its prolly my turn signal needs replaced on the column. does that still sound like a good diagnosis?
how hard is it to replace the trurn signal? and whats all involved? thanks for reading!
Buy a Haynes manual, go to chapter 12 and follow the directions to see what is wrong.
Just take off the shroud around the steering column and check the quarter round shaped connector to see if it is loose or if there are any frayed wires or corroded connections.
Because one of your brake lights works only intermittently when you screw with the switch, I am inclined to say it is the switch, but you should check the connections first to save money on a part you may or may not need, it could be something really simple. Wiring problems are not that hard but can be a bugger sometimes.
On a side note, if it looks like you took the time to compose a thought-out post (correcting misspellings and such), more of the people on here would be more eager and prompt to try to help you with your issues. I don't want to be mean but your posts really make you look lazy...
siganal, trurn, prolly... is it really that hard to type probably? It's like two extra letters.
Hope my post helps you at least a little. I will see if I can scan the relevant pages of the haynes if you don't have one.
More information about his signal issues can be found in this thread.
