Ok iv got a 75 ranger that only has the aft axle gas tank now. Fella I bought the truck off of put Auto Meter Sport-Comp gauges in it but for some reason never put a fuel gauges in it. Now I have found a same series gauge, but im not sure if it will work cause ill need there fuel level sender.
I need to know if this fuel level sender will fit in my rear tank or if the origenal will work. Or if yall know what ohm the stock fuel sender runs on. Or heck any ideas at all would be nice. thanks
I don't think that universal sender will work because the original senders use a lock ring to secure them while that aftermarket is a bolt down type. The correct ford Ohm sender would be 75-10 Ohms. I couldn't find the sport comp gauge, but there is the sport comp II gauge that will work with the original ford sender to make things much easier.
Glad to help out. It's better to stay with an original Ford sender so if you have problems you can ask and diagnose better than with aftermarket universal stuff.
