I have a 2003 F350 with the 6.0L. I engage the 4wheel drive and it doesnt turn the front wheels over. I know the transfer case IS engaging but its not turning the front wheels...Whats wrong?
check the vacum lines from vacum pump to each side hub for damage. and truck does need to move for the hub to lock in [with the vacum pump]. remember that if your suck and need to light it up to get out[ go easy till it locks in] then light em up. make shure the hubs are turned the same both auto or both lock
There is a module on passenger side fender, had same problem and changed no problem. Service manager gave me a heads up and he was right, may have part # it makes a vacumn I guess.
