managed to find not one but TWO old Slicks. My hunt was for disc brake swap parts, but found no qualifying candidates... I found a few parts...
Original Radio, rust free in Great shape.
Backing/Guts for the Emergency Flasher Bezel (SCORE!)
Better (not stripped) door handles than my own.
...all for ELEVEN BUCKS! BOOM! WINNING!
Oddly enough, both Slicks had no beds... one looked to be a flat/stake bed, and the other was (I think) an F(bigboy) The doors were original, so I took pix of the warranty tags, which I could use some help decoding...
By the way, These are at Crazy Rays in Jessup, MD...
N code was used on BOTH big and 'little' trucks...big trucks...it was a Clark...little trucks...NP435...
The blue truck is an early 65...580,001-587,999= Aug 64 build date, 588,000- 599,999= Sept 64 build date...
its a long wheelbase 2WD F250 truck,FE engine and built @ Michigan Truck
B4 is a 4.10 D60 locking rear end...33 DSO= Detroit...if that rear is still there...check the tag...if its original...I would get it myself...the body code is different...usually is either an A or a B81...mines an AB81...the K is a new one for me...its a base model truck(81A) with Medium Blue Crush Vinyl and Medium Blue Ladder pattern woven plastic.
If the seats there...snag a pic of it...and a close up of the insert area...different patterns for different models and years...Thanks :-)

No kidding! If that rear end is still there, I'd be tempted to drive up to Maryland and grab it myself.
if the decode is right... and the rear (whether original or not?) is still there. odd... I recall it having a 66 grille painted white. I suppose it could have been added later.
Go back and look to see if the F700 has the padded visors that the light duty trucks did not get.
Pick a Parts are great. I scored 3 1/2 x 16" u bolts. a 3x 5" lift blocks and upper retainers from a 94 F350 crew cab on saturday for my 69 crew cab suspension change out to 3" 2002 leafs. 32 bucks out the door.....Man there is nothing liks scrounging parts from rust free trucks in Arizona. The things actually come off, unlike back in PA where it needs to be torched off.
