90 Bronco 5.8l having several issues.

First of all my issues is restart. The first start of the day it starts and runs fine, if I turn it off and don't wait at least 5-10 minutes it acts flooded and is hard to start. Replaced all injectors less than 100 miles ago. Did a normal tune-up replacing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil about 500 miles ago. Removed aftermarket chip I had installed thinking it may have been problem but it is still there. Also it sounds beefy but feels gutless when driving. Can't get on it to pass or just pick up speed fast, doesn't allow the downshift or throttle to ramp up. Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you.

Any codes?
What is the fuel pressue?
What is the timing set at?
You said it sounds like it's flooding, is it? Are the plugs wet? If they are that suggests the injectors are being held open, but since they were just replaced the cause is an electrical wiring short or a problem with the PCM.
What condition is the exhaust in? Could it have a clogged/melted cat?

Next time that happens when starting it, try putting the gas pedal to the floor. Doing that will shut off the injectors.

Might be the fuel pump, check the fuel pressure the next time it happens.

@Conanski the exhaust is brand new, removed cats. Have not checked fuel pressure at the rail. Could the sensor for the fuel air ratio cause this issue as well? Thats the spot I had removed the "chip" from.

I’m not sure why you removed the catalytic converter unless it was clogged or had broken apart. Is it a whole new “y” pipe with or without the oxygen sensor? Without the O2 sensor, the computer doesn’t know to run the fuel injectors so, no, it won’t run right.

@My4Fordtrucks I put headers on, new y-pipe w/ O2 Sensor, with Aero Turbine Muffler. This issue I'm having is recent, exhaust was done 2 years ago and never had any issues. Also I'm not getting any codes.

No codes as in “11 or “111” or you aren’t getting anything when trying to read codes?

The computer might have died if you cannot get the system pass codes.

Computer is fine, there are no codes to be pulled! It is not showing anything going wrong. When I say no codes I mean no codes saying anything is wrong not that I can't get a code.

As stated above in Post #8

If the computer isn't having any problems, then it will give you a Code 11 / Code 111.

If you are getting NO response (blinkenlight, meter sweep, code reader, whatever) THEN you have a real problem there.

Ok. So now you are back to the other questions that were asked a week ago.
