Sounds like a cruise-o-matic
I have a couple extra c-6's taken out of 66 Camper Specials. (Original would be what you have but many upgraded them)
Where are you located?
Welcome to FTE!
There is a couple different ways to do the C-6 in your truck. With a slip on yoke or a bolt on yoke (trans end)
would be interested in one of your C6's, Im in socal, long beach area.
Any idea where vin nubers might be on this truck. are there secondary frame numbers stamped any where?
VIN is on the warranty tag located on the drivers door, and on the right frame rail on top. The number is usally located in the engine bay half way to a little under the cab. Take a wire brush to the top of the rail and you should have a star on each end of the VIN, good searching.
There are usually 2 sets of VIN numbers on right rail. Easiest one to see or read is forward VIN. The * that starts vin is usually 2" forward from front edge of crossmember. Take a wire brush and start there and work forward and you willfind it there. It will show VIN and another *
