I have an 84 250sc with front buckets that after 213000 are not near as comfy and my upholstry on a roll (blue duct tape) is sticking to my a... uh jeans. They are blue with some sort of plaid insert. Ive onlt seen them in broncos of the late 70's and to get upholstry for buckets it seems i have to get bronco stuff but i dont want to buy the back seat too and they arent even the right pattern.
so just go to an upholstery shop and have them finish them with new goods. its way cheaper than anything else you try. Im looking for leather buckets from a grey super duty to replace my crap bench. i need more back support, 31 years old with a 50 year old back doesnt work well with the stock bench.
I know what your saying. I'm 24 and age like milk too. And the upholstry shop may be my best bet. All but the outside edges on both are exellent the left one needs foam too though. any tip on rehanging a headliner without my thumbtack kit?
yeah buddy, 3m spray adhesive and your choice of liner. i did that when if first got my truck, it was cigarette burned like crazy(how the fart do you burn the liner in the middle of the truck with cigarettes?), just cut it mostly to fit and then trimmed with razor after it was adhered to the top. Best is thin but if you have patience you can go with anything.
Where do I get those airport grade seats?
Reminds me of when I lived in Detroit, the Dodge truck plant used to shuttle trucks under construction from one plant to the next in Warren, Mich., they just put a crate or a bucket on the floor, often with no cab and just drove down the highway, mind you these were the days previous to seat belts as well.
Used to see lots of trucks just sitting at the roadside burned or disabled, mind up my mind in those early days not to own a Dodge.
