How would this sound??
right now i have a stock cat, then it goes into a flowmaster that splits it into two 2,5 inch pipes that go out the back. its sounds ok, but its not loud at all. i slipped off the cat for a week just to see how it would sound and it was LOUD. so i am planning on getting a 3 inch to dual 2.5 inch y pipe, then put on 2 16" glasspacks that go into the duals that are installed. any idea how this would sound?

I think running 2 mufflers on a single exhaust system is a waste of time and money.Why not just run 3in off the cat back to a single in dual outlet muffler of your choice?On that particular truck I think they sound good with the cat taken off and 3 in single back to a flowmaster with dual 3 in tailpipes.
