Unless you order the F350 10,000 LB GVWR package, you'll gain an automatic 1200+ LB upgrade in GVWR for the F350 over the F250.
The F350 has hydroboost brakes instead of the possible vacuum boost brakes on your '10 F250. What overall advantage that has is questionable, but it can't hurt IMO.
Plus, with the 6.7, you won't need a tuner. 400 HP/700 LBFT should be enough, eh? You'll have your warranty back.
And you'll probably gain a little in MPG over the '10, depending on your driving style. With that alone, your new '11 will pay for itself in, oh, 30 years or so....
My warranty has not been canceled yet. Ive never had any issues other than a recent rust problem that is being fixed under warranty. I never hide my tuner from the dealer. Pay to play, right. Even if I returned my truck to stock and reinstalled my dpf if they ever asked I would be honest. Just they way I was raised. I feel that crap always comes back to haunt you. BTW on a trade in they know my truck is tuned and want it returned to stock and then they will honor the warranty for a new buyer. Their problem then.
Hey 11superduty you are worse then me. I dont need any help convincing myself I need a new truck I just need 61k.

I had the very same problem hauling my 38 foot cedar creek with my f 250. I have just changed to a f 350 for the same issue as yourself but I was due to change my truck and that does not seem to be in your plans. One option if it is a option on your 5th is to load your Trailer with weight in the back to take weight of your pin weight, this could be done by loading water tank, loading storage bins ect and then taking it to a scale and have it weighed and get Mot or scale person to print off load ticket which you could retain in your truck in case of incident. hope this advice helps.
all this talk about 250 vs. 350 has got me thinking.
First off, is the ride much harder on the 350?
That might be a hard question to answer because it would also depend on tire and wheel type, and wheelbase, among other things, unless someone has compared equally-sized and equipped F250s and F350s.
My only comparison to my '11 F350 was to the '11 F250 KR I test-drove before ordering, and mine is a slightly harder ride, but the tires and wheels are different, along with my having the Supercab instead of the Crew Cab.
My '11 F350 is definitely a harder ride than my '05 F250 was, but the '05 was a really soft-sprung truck, IMO.
(edit) I'd be willing to bet (in agreement with Tom's post) that with equal loads, the F350 may ride better than the F250 once the overload spring settles on the perches.

That's a question your dealer would have to answer. Mine was perfectly willing to let me change my mind and order another truck, or even simply cancel my order if I wanted to for any reason whatsoever, but I've been doing business with the same dealer for 35 years, and we've bought a lot of vehicles from him, including when I was buying virtually all of our company trucks from him before I retired.
