wont start after header install...

so i got another set of headers installed last night. did it in the rain and everything.

well i took the set that didnt fit right off, put the new ones on (flowtech's). the fuel line on the drivers side frame rail was touching the header to i had to reroute them...

where they were touching the header the lines were bent metal tubing,so i took that out and replaced it with soft line are got it away from the header... now im not getting fuel to the carb.

i had 10 gallons in the front tank and i know i didnt loose that much. i have a clear fuel filter before the carb. the pump is working cuz you can see that it wants to pump the fuel up there...

any ideas???????????? thank you!

kinda, before it wouldnt pump any fuel. so i replaced the entire fuel system. the problem before turned out to be the tank selector valve...

well, i just came back in from trying to get it going again. put 5 more gallons of fuel in the front tank. had my wife out there tunring it over for me. nothing was changing.

so i decided to get back under it and play with the tank selector vavle. didnt do anything but try and take the lines off to see if there was fuel at that point. lines wouldnt come apart lol so i said screw it. told my wife to turn the key to ACC. and flip the tank switch, she did and nothing. than all of the sudden it started clicking as if it should.

so i went back up to the engine bay to watch the fuel filter to see if it was getting fuel now. she started turning it over again and now it seems like the filter is filling back up.

than, guess what!? lol, battery died. lol, so im charging it now.

That sure sounds like home over the years!! LOL! Nice that your wife helps out. Mine will still come out and help bleed brakes etc... but she normally has a couple of magazines with her. Hope you figue out what is going on after the battery gets back up.
