99 SD radio question

99 SD radio question

Did the radio in the 99's stay on after the key was turned off, and remain on till a door was open? Cause in mine, all accessories (basically just the power windows, and the lights in the buttons for the windows and locks) stay on until I open my door. I would assume the radio is supposed to as well, but it doesn't. If it is supposed to, anyone have an idea why it isn't? Relay maybe?

Mine is the same as yours,the radio goes off,but the windows/lights on switches stay on.I've wondered the same thing,mine has always been like this since I bought it in 2000.

Ok, sounds like it is normal then. I'm sure it'd be pretty simple to change if one wanted it to stay on with the other things. But I'm not worried about doing it, just wanted to make sure it wasn't supposed to in the first place. Thanks!
