tonneau cover suggestions
-easy and quick to take off an on. I often haul and would need to remove, and also install stake sides I made from time to time so ease of instal and removal is important. Being able to take off and stow on the fly is good to for those unexpected hauls.
-would like when removed to leave nothing or very little behind to get damaged. I haul stuff well above the bedrails like firewood and I wouldnt want parts left to get crushed. Gravel, dirt and other stuff too so would like to avoid a cover that can get those things stuck in them.
-must be waterproof! this is the main reason for covering the bed - this is truck sees many long trips with the family and its been a problem not having dry storage for clothes & gear like my F150 w/cap had.
-dont care if its low profile or sit on top. However if I could leave the cover on and still put my stake sides in would be handy, but I'd probably remove it anyways since the stake sides are mainly for firewood stacked to the top of the cab.
-would prefer not to have to mess with snaps, a folding one sounds ideal to me. But want the fabric to be able to last a long time (Xtangs signiture fabric?).
Will the thickness of Line-X interfere with a tonneau or limit my selections? I would like to get Line-X'ed pretty soon as well.
