Unhappy front tire wear problems

i am kinda wondering what i can do to fix my tire wearing prob..i got a 77 ford f100 two wheel drive..the front suspension has been rebuilt not long ago..new radius arm bushings..even a new steering box , but it keeps wearing down the inside tread after five or six months..now i run eagle alloys 15x10 rims with p255 60 radials..is there anything else i could do?

The width on your tires might be a factor due to the way the twin "I" beam pivots but it's basically a Camber problem I think. You need an alignment shop that has the equipment to bend the "I" beams to adjust it. A lot of places just set the toe in and don't do anything else.

I'd say the front coil springs were shot.

Most Good places won't do an alignment if the springs are bad.

If the front springs are sagging the ride height is lower than it should be and that makes camber is lower than it should be. IMHO replace the front springs before getting the alignment checked. They're not too expensive.
