Has anyone expierenced this problem or know what would have caused it?
I have the 2010 F-150 FX4, I was using the command start to let the truck warm up as it was 25 below here. Well after letting the truck run for the 15 min time period I hit the command start again to let it warm up another 15 min. When I went to the truck it was blowing cold air(not enough to even melt the snow on the windshield). I thought if I started driving it would get warmer, it didn't. I was driving to the dealership and have them look at it but as I was driving I decided I would turn the temp down then turned it up. it started blowing hot air and works fine now.
I got a feeling if I take into the dealership now they will think I am nuts or something becasue the problem no longer exists.
Sounds like the blend door got stuck somehow, and it got freed by changing the temp.
I would chalk it up as an anomaly. If it seems like a trend, take it in & explain the symptoms & fix. The dealership should be willing to look at it...even if it is working at that time.

Blend air door was stuck. You may have had some condensation freeze or something silly. Now that you got your truck and dash all warmed up, I wouldn't be concerned about it.
What causes a resistor to burn out last Nov. and last week a resistor plug the resistor and the blower motor. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

stockel, This would be better started as a new thread as it is a new question about a different issue.
