Got some crazy fuel pressure going on and have no clue what to do. Put 2 cycle oil in the tank about 2 months ago inking file filter looks good haven't tryed to change the fuel bowl filter yet. Just seeing what you guys think. Not sure if the link will work may have to cut and paste sorry.
My guess would be your fuel pressure regulator is acting up. If the spring is dislodged in center that can cause high pressure. Another possibility is the gauge isn't working right.
Gauge is brand new and have triple checked all wiring to the gauge and sender
That does not mean it's working correctly. I bought a brand new autometer pyro gauge and it was off. I would check your fpr. Hopefully it's something simple.
Well pulled the regulator today cleaned everything seamed to fix it, ...... till fuel pressure starts to drop off. So I get out and luck would have it the male end of the regulator is cracked (fudge monkeys) so ordered a new one from guzzles well see if that fixes it.
Ahh, been waiting to see the improvements with Bob's different spring rate springs, very nice aftermarket upgrade, can't beat the price either, good luck.

I tested all three springs Bob supplys and they all provided fuel pressure within the margins he lists:
58-61 psi silver spring (Stock pressure)
62-65 psi gold spring
67-70 psi black spring
