Yes the later 6.0L are better, but we still have to do maintenence on them. You cant always blame the motor if something happens.
If you do a search you will see that there are many great 6.0L out there.

I agree with the both of you, but I know a guy with a 03 6.0 EX and he beats the living snot out of it and its still running better than ever

Look up the 6.0L there is plenty of info about this engine on the net. Check out any and all info you can find out about the truck you are looking at ,and if you can get a good deal........It seems to be a roll of the dice. I don't have very good luck so I should have known better ,but that is just my .02 with my truck.
