Remote Control- ProStart- door lock
Hello,
Ford Aeorstar 1996 v3.0
Automatic door lock
The prostart module send a 0.6 volts signal to either lock or unlock the door. I had a command start install originaly and stop working. From the wire that were there before, two 12v wire and one black wire. When i touch one of the 12v, one lock and the other unlock the door. My problem is that the prostart signal is only 0.6v, How shoud I connect it.

What model of Prostart do you have? How do you check that there is 0.6V from the signal. I had installed an prostart remote starter with alarm and door lock. I think the module either has positive or negative pulse signal for the door lock. My van is 1990 4.0. Don't know if the wirings are the same for both models. Post for more information while I search for my installation instruction and hopefully I will be able to give you some ideas.
