more problems

k so i replaced the return lines the other day ran fine after that. yesterday it ran good i drove it around for a little bit and today i tried to start it and i didnt start so i took off filter to see if it was full of fuel and it was at the top so i kept cranking it but it never started i took out the valve on the side of the filter to see if it was pumping fuel and its not so im guessing fuel pump?

just because no fuel is leaking out doesnt mean air cant be leaking in. air getting in would deffinatly make it hard to start. make sure the caps are all seated properly

If you're not seeing any fuel coming out of that valve then you either have a massive air leak or your lift pump quit lifting fuel. When I check mine, I get fuel spewing out like nuts. I have a custom-made rubber hose with a locking bike valve on the end that I can clamp to that bleeder and it just dumps fuel when I crank it.

Your either out of fuel or the lift pump went bad. pull the line off the sucktion side of the pump and see if you are getting fuel, if so the pump is bad. to change it fast and easy get a mechanical pump.

On that site pn 60278 should be what you want. And when you put it in make sure the arm is angled down and not up. The filter would not be completely empty, but does it blow air or no pressure at all?

im not sure if it blew out air i just had a jar set up by it so the fuel would go in it and kinda watched it as i turned the key. ill get someone to turn the key for me tomorrow

You should change the oil because if the diaphram when bad it probably leaked dfuel into the oil. And ive done the cranking myself by taking the wire going to the started selonoid of the selonoid on the fender and they touching it to the positive post on the battery. that my not be the safest way but it works in a ppinch. Just be sure it is OUT OF GEAR first.
