I own a 1993 F-150 single cab 8 foot box! I am on a short budget and know its not the proper way to do it but i am planing on doing a 1" hockey puck body lift!!! I was wondering if anyone has done this and also how many contact points are connecting your body to the chassie? I need to know how many pucks and dose anyone know stock size of your body bolts? ex. 4" long 9/16 bolt???
Please do not do something stupid like this. If you going to do a body lift at least buy the kit. I would suggest just waiting and doing a suspension lift if you want to lift it. Something else you can do is leveling front coils to raise the front up. That would be a better way to go than a crappy body lift anyway.

He's just a troll, Ty. Don't pay this little boy any attention.
I cut mine out of 3 inch wide 1/4 inch tubing. I will try to get the bolt measuements for ya but i dont know if i will have time to go out and measure.

Haha for got you where a hero? I own the truck and i can do what i want! Not going to hurt you or anyone else for the way i am using this vechile!! I just want to gain a little extra clearence where by 2" body is to big!
It might hurt someone else if you have a wreck because of a shoddy home made lift. You could also get sued for it. For what you are going to gain its not worth it. At least buy the real 2 inch body lift. I don't see how 2 inches is too much if you want 1 inch of lift. Whats the point to 1 inch of lift?
A 1in body lift isnt much , don't know how hockey pucks will hold up , but if you use good material and bolts , i don't see a problem with it , body lifts just use spacers , i don't care for body lifts more than 2in , so your idea sounds alot better than stacking pucks ....Lew
It's just my personal opinion but i never liked the look of body lifts because there's always too much frame showing. 1" or 2" isn't too bad, but i'd rather go with a suspension lift myself. i know somebody who lifted his truck with hockey pucks last fall, but i always thought that was an accident waiting to happen. But it's your call.
Hero? No. Actually, I'm a royal *******. And you sound like a troll.
If someone were to hurt or kill my family because of shoddy work on their truck (like an effing puck lift) I would set out to return the favor to the person who hurt my family.
Just saying. You actually could hurt someone if you don't do this right.
Just take these guys advise and get the suspension lift. It's a better lift and a better way to achieve what you want without causing any more problems.
