I run one in the front of my 79. 460 and 44s... Its done fine thus far, but a dana 60 does have a stout carrier. I would not put one in the rear though.

I wouldn't trust them in the rear. They are a 'lunchbox' locker. I run one in the front because I can lock out the hubs. They add alot of added stress to the stock carrier (mainly the cross pin) on the street. I just don't how long it would hold up on a fullsize. It would probably be fine but I run a detroit. I leave the lock rites to the toyotas.
I'll give you the 2 Lockright's that I have in the garage! Both for d44's and both broken with 35" boggers in the mud. Not worth the price or time to me.
no they are broken where the springs sit. Since they load/unload while turning, if you are under hard acceleration and turn sharply they chatter so much they end up stripping the teath and braking
I'v been looking at getting one of these for a while now. I wanna get a selectable, but the fact that i can lock the front and rear for half of what 1 arb will cost. Im willing to give them a chance.
I figure if im not flooring it around every corner it will hold up. And i dont know about the front d44ttb, im afraid the first time i got it on the trail i would break an axle. So it may stay unlocked until i get a d60 under it. But the rear 10.25 will get one this summer for sure.
