As I get to work yesterday I see people putting up the yellow tape around the first parking spot to get into the building. Someone put one in thier head.
yuck its crappy out !
I have to go to a meeting at School, THAT should be FUN ! I hope the roads arnt this bad all the way there....I think I seen maybe 5 cars this morning.
Real Icy roads today, I left for work at 5:25, made it at 6:20. I live 11 miles away. This was not a Car driveing to fast or to slow issue, everyone was driving just right for the roads this morning.

I think I'll deal with the icy roads instead.
No Kidding, Suicide is the most selfish thing you can do, unless you are becoming to ill to move forward, but just because you have a bad day.
The other day I got a call from a co worker, there was a shut down on 94 out in Chesterfield. The co worker was asking me to call my brother and ask him not to block traffic there anymore .
Anyhow, when I did talk to my brother I asked him about it, some guy decided he was done, so he jumped from the overpass, they can only guess he lived, because he sat up and a truck took off everything above the shoulders.. Here this guy is, done with it, and ruins the life of another by getting them involved.
Cant these people find themselves a brick, a lake, and single shot... No one one needs to know..they just go away....
Sorry it had to happen Al.

I used to live in Redford, and owned a house there just next to Detroit....the community was a mix of Blacks and Whites, I never had any problems....It was a great place to live. I didnt realize until later that the reason it was so good, is that taxes were very high....almost 5k a year, on a 1400 sq ft home. So even though home prices were low (I paid 93k for a foreclosed home) the relatively high taxes and the strict code enforcement by the Redford police and inspectors kept it a nice, safe and clean area. The lesson here is that now anytime I, or any of my friends, from the suburbs start to complain about taxes......this story is how I help them realize the value of those expenses!
Oh, and now I live in the country....so I shouldnt have any issues!!
Well not going to Meeting, went out and lost the car almost 4 times going up and down the Hill here. And noone I saw went over 20 mph .. yuck ! When is the County coming out and putting down Salt?
My Truck is still in the Shop and I just talked to him to see whats up he said he still does not have my Hardware yet ! I told him fine roads are crappy anyway he now will call me when my parts are in. First I was told they be in next day I dropped off the Truck Tuesday. So Parts was to be in on Wed. then he told me Wed they wont be in till Friday now this morning they are still not in. I got News for him they are better be in by Monday !
I will not take my truck to them again ! There goes another Shop on the List.
No he didnt really like them or dislike until now. Now he dislikes them ...
The shop he likes is here in Town, ...but they dont paint so I had my Fender Flares to do and I had no Choice I had to take to someone else & also for the Alignment.
I hate the idea all these People messing my Truck, I wish I was smart enough to do this stuff myself or my Hubby was home to do it and I could help.
Oh yeah, women that wrench! I have a few on a calendar in the garage. Painting isn't difficult Jasmine, just like everything else it takes a little practice before you learn what you need to know. The weather sucks here too, no ice though, just sloppy. I'm gonna sit around and sip Tullamore Dew all afternoon. Maybe take a nap.
