I have steel underdrives, I didn't use the alternator pulley though. But they did wake up the truck a lil. When I have my 33's on truck don't feel bogged down at all

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it's because a lot of times it works out fine, but there are many people out there that have had issues due to an underdriven alternator.

Go with the March power and amp series. Has a smaller alt pulley so you wont have any charging issues. They are aluminum. $99 from summit.

I have been thinking about a set underpulleys for my '91 5.8l efi.

When you use the March set of pulleys, do you use the same length fan belt? (I hope so or a couple of them will be on ebay soon!)

cheers
