blow by

1999 ford f-550, 7.3 L deisel seems to have blow by coming from some kind of box on left valve cover, has 180,000 miles. Looking to buy, is this a concern?

1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums Here is a link to the page for the 7.3 Power Stroke, maybe ask the guys there as your question is engine specific.
Blowby is never good but it may just be a crankcase vent problem but the guys on that other page should know.
