i know theres some people here who have exhaust that exits in front of the rear pass. side tire my main question is would it be possible to do it on the drivers side with just the stock 3" piping? i dont wanna get too close to the tank and boil my fuel or worse.
this wont happen for a while as most of my spare funds are being spent fixing some problems i have.
my other question is, my cat is plugged to the point where i have seen it glow red so if i cut it out and put some of that slip on pipe as a test pipe with a couple clamps do you think itll leak terribly till i get access to a welder?

In order to route the pipe before the rear wheel on the driver's side you will have to go around the driveshaft, under the gas tank and under the frame. This is not a good thing IMO. You will go to all that trouble to have a system that will not perform any better than a SIDO or SISO system. Your best bet is to use a single 3" pipe or to go with a SIDO setup with both tailpipes exiting behind the rear tires. The pipe going to the drivers side will still be very close to the spare tire.
As for the cat test pipe if you get the pipe that slips over expanded properly and use good clamps you should have no leaks. I use the u-bolts type clamps because I found they pull the joint together with no leaks. I had leaking issues with the preformed sheetmetal clamps I tried.
thanks for the advice, i figured it would be too tough to get out in front of the ds tire, as for the cat im still lokking to see if i have a friend with a welder
