Thanks for everyone's advice. It wa exactly the type of thing I was looking for and I am very grateful.
What I meant by the price is that it will cost aprox. $750 more for me to have it shipped than to go down and pick it up myself. I found a company that will do it for $1,975 and I figure the cost for me to do it by myself is $1,000 to $1,250. It is a V10 engine.
Ok now I see. If I had the time I would go get it myself for $750 bucks difference. Would be an awesome trip! What would the possibility be of finding a third party to inspect the TT for you before you go pick it up? Would hate to drive that far and find out the TT isn't in good condition or have water damage. Just thinking out loud.
Man...talk about a subtle word...I had read it as $750 "additional" to the price of the TT...but now with the clarifications...it does make sense and I just never thought to take it that way...oh well...the danger of the "typed" words on the internet!...
All is good though...thanks for catching and clarifying the intent of "more"! LOL...

Thanks for the clarification (I never would have thought of the costs that way).
I would be concerned about buying it w/o seeing it myself.
Miss. has lots of moisture & flood damaged things from Katrina.
Not to be doomsdayer, but driving that far to discover it isn't what you
want isn't fun either.
We have nearly 10 big RV lots in the Central Florida area (Orlando to Tampa on I-4). We spent a couple of weekends shopping locally and the floor plans and interiors vary so widely I can't imagine buying one over the web. We also bought a used one with an interior layout we really liked. You could even take the "autotrain" south and save the gas!
It's a buyers market. When we bought 2 years ago, the lots were full and they had few customers. So I wouldn't be too locked in on a TT 1000 miles away. Just my .02 (good luck with the Ex & towing!)
