VACUUM

Replaced vacuum pump on my 2001 F350 Deisel. still my vent will only blow out the defrost. No wiper spray. Can't find any vacuum leaks. Any HELP

Do you have electronic shift on teh fly 4x4 controls? If you do, i bet one of the little vacuum hoses on teh wheel hub is broke off.

If you have esof, disconnect the vacuum hose on top of the vacuum tank(that goes downward towards your hubs) and check for vacuum. if you have vacuum here, plug it, on the vacuum side .. then check for your problem..

Couple pics and a diagram. Does the vac pump run. If not check fuse 28 under dash.

My 2003 with manual heater controls, had a gray hose coming from under the right fender, that had become disconnected. It hooked to a dead end plug on the a/c dryer. I think.
Anyway It needed plugging/ Jim
