I wish I knew more about programming these things. I know how to do it but don't have a clue how it changes the inside of the ecm. All I can think is that when the flash on it is the correct one for your truck then it must reroute circuits inside. I just don't have a clue. I wish I did. I'm not a computer geek at all. I put the old BEG8 ecm in my tool box to keep as a spare just in case. I also have a spare injector driver in there and a full set of injectors. WIth all the traveling we do I am not getting raped by a garage or ford dealer on the road somewhere.
