How about that? Something I actually have. I'm quite a ways away. Looks like you are in Florida?
Checked rates, I can send it expedited parcel for about $30. 6-7 days delivery. Give me another $20 for the part and packaging and I'll send it your way. $50 total.

And yes, why do you need one? This one came from a running 5.0 87 truck. I'll check caps before I would send it.

Reason: see above post!
302meister, if you want the ECU, I can send, but you really would be better off looking for one locally. Wreckers usually want around $25 for them at a U-pull.
I found a reman ECU locally for 75 bucks with lifetime warranty. I think its an ECU problem because I've replaced every ignition and fuel component i can think of. I have plenty of compression. It isn't firing right. I've checked my firing order, replaced plugs &wires, cap and rotor button, replaced ignition coil, and checked timing
Just because the vacuum lines may be connected to the right place means nothing. Those 20+ year old vinyl tubes fall apart if you look too hard at them.
Have you tried pulling the Codes from the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and stored aka Continuous Memory (CM) display?
Before plunking down $$ for no reason, at the very least pull your computer (PCM) out and inspect it for leaking capacitors or burn spots.
