Brake problem!!

What's going on. I have a problem I've just bought a 85 bronco II and I like everything about it. Wished it had a 302 in it instead of the 2.8. I changed carbs. on it it had all that electrical stuff on it so I got me a two barrell Holley and changed the jets so it wouldn't flood it. I think the rear brake cylinder is gone and the pedal hits the floor and when I go to pump the brake the motor dies. Is it because of the brake cylinder or is it a vaccum leak to the brakes. Any answers would be appreciated.

Brake problem!!

snds to me like a bad booster and master cylinder. the check valve is prolly shot. pull your back wheels off and check the cylinders. they go out at random sometimes.

also check you hoses to make sure that it is not leaking and connected to the right place.

Brake problem!!

I'm thinking it's the vaccum hose. I haven't had time to work on it much i'm going to school and working and plus girlfriend. It's just a little project i'm wanting to work on. Thanks for the advice.
