Yes and no...the main problem was I needed a new igniter...igniter replaced, and violla! nice heated pool again! For a while.
Now, (which the service guy said would probably happen) I need a new circuit saftey switch, which of course, is tied in with the gas saftey switch, which is tied in with the water flow pressure switch, WHICH is tied in to the flame temp switch....it all comes in one little block which I believe sells for around $50 bucks, BUT, it has to be replaced by a tech, as all the adjustments are sensitive..etc.
Unfortunatly, no one keeps stuff like that in stock, so I'll have to order it..(the pool will work ok in the meantime)..I just want to get ahead of the game..so I am going to check out my heat exchanger to see if it is blocked up a little,(hence the flow pressure switch will be happy), if it is ok, great, if it's blocked a bit, hopefully I can clear it, if not then it's $800 smackers for a new one, plus whatever it costs for labor, plus the tech's drive out here and back..those service dudes make the big bucks, I'll tell you for nothing!!!
Wow. Is that a swimming pool, or a nuke plant?? That's how things work here!!LOL Well, hopefully you can fix it without changing out the heat exchanger too.
Well, looks like we have thunderstorms moving in, so I'm going to make a run for my truck before they get here! Have a good night, bud, I'll catch up with you tomorrow!
Afternoon Lanny. Didn't get into work until 12:30 today, and have been running ever since! Well, our warm weather departed yesterday, right after the hail storm we had! Cool and windy today, might get into the 40's if we're lucky.
I guess we're going to have cool weather, for at least a week, with highs in the 40's, and possibly a chance for some light snow over the weekend. Just swell.
