Any Good?

Anybody have any opinions on those wellman "dual coil regulated" glow plugs? I have my suspitions never seen any stand up to the beru's. so far i run only beru plugs. And what about tose motorcarft filters at wal mart. I use wix but they are getting pricey. Motorcraft sounds good but not "motorcraft at wal mart". Any one cut one apart i get the feeling they might only be up to fram standards.

My Dad buys the Motorcraft oil filters for his 03 7.3, he's been doing that since he bought it brand new in October '02. Same part number as you would get at the dealership. 1995 if I remember correctly. And for the GP's....stick with the Motorcraft/Beru's. I've gone out on a limb here with Autolite 1109's. They aren't listed for a 6.9/7.3, the computer say 1107's. DEFINETLY stay away from anything the computer spits out for Part Numbers...bad news! But these 1109's are supposedly from a Hummer 6.2 or 6.5, I can't remember. But they are also dual coal, temperature limiting. Mine are going on 2 years, been swpaped between 2 engines, have been pulled once for doing the head gasket job and re-installed, and have a lot of use within the last 20k miles. I start my truck like 20 times on an average day...so they get a work out. Upon re-installation, I checked them again with the battery charger and really let them have it...none of them blew up, so they went back in the truck. Upon initial purchase of any plug, you should still test them on the battery charger to be sure. From what I remember a while ago, the plug tips can absorb water while sitting on the shelf and once they heat up, they swell and burn up.
