I have a 90 F150 4.9 2wd auto E4OD. The ignition actuator rod broke, I have been trying to find a junkyard column for a reasonable price but haven't found anything under $200. The ignition cylinder is out of the column and completely useless. This is not a daily driver, mostly just a farm truck.
Which wires do I need and where are they located? I pulled apart the grey crescent shaped, 10 wire connector from under the column, it looks like all but two of the wires are for the multifunction switch (according to pg 12-50 of my haynes manual). The two that I cant figure out are yellow/blue and blue.
why not replace the actuator its not to hard to do.
or tack the plastic off the bottom of col. and use a pair of plyers,
to push the wire that goes to the switch
