looking for ideas
i recentally became an owner of a 1999 mercury mountaineer and im looking to get ideas on what looks good one them if you got pics it would be great thanks in advanced

Rockin300...what is your general theme or look? Street Queen or some trail use? You can get a decent look with 32"s for very little money on your '99 with a torsion twist up front and some shackles for the rear. It all depends on your tastes and your budget.
I recently traded in my '99 XLT v8 AWD and I sure do miss that thing. I love my F150, but the Explorer was good to me.

4.0 SOHC or the trusty 5.0 V8? I found the AWD to be a beast on muddy fire trails during hunting trips, as well as in the snow. That thing clawed like mad through the white stuff...I'm sure the Michelins helped a little too.

4.0 sohc im getting a cold air intake on it and im running with out a muffler right now but my plans gotta wait till i get my taxes back

forget the cold air intake and buy something that will at least look good, even if it dont help the mileage or power.
