Rockin300...what is your general theme or look? Street Queen or some trail use? You can get a decent look with 32"s for very little money on your '99 with a torsion twist up front and some shackles for the rear. It all depends on your tastes and your budget.
I recently traded in my '99 XLT v8 AWD and I sure do miss that thing. I love my F150, but the Explorer was good to me.
4.0 SOHC or the trusty 5.0 V8? I found the AWD to be a beast on muddy fire trails during hunting trips, as well as in the snow. That thing clawed like mad through the white stuff...I'm sure the Michelins helped a little too.
