Leveling Kit Options?

I have a 2005 CC F250 6.0L diesel that I want to install a leveling kit on as well as 35x12.5x20's. I asked this question in the diesel forum and got next to nothing in terms of a response. Maybe I asked the question in the wrong forum. At any rate, is any leveling kit better than any other leveling kit? Isn't a spacer a spacer? I have seen people charging quite different prices for what looks to be almost the same spacers. I am also planning on installing Bilstien shocks at the same time. Let me know what you've had good luck with (or not so good luck). Thanks!

IMO Readylift probably sells one of the better leveling kits. Their not cheap but well made and fit well.

Remember their not designed for off-road use so you may want to go with full spring leveling kit if that is your intent.

I think the "top hat" type steel spacers that install above the spring and sit in the upper spring cone mount are a more solid and safe design compared to the lower spring spacers. I bought mine from top-gun customz 2.5" 05-07 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty Leveling Lift Kit @Top Gun Customz and then fab my own 3/8 poly dampner spacers. I didn't purchase the Readylift because i didn't want the shock extenders. I did purchase RL's track bar bracket kit though which is a quality well made kit.

Yeah, because those lower perches are only held on with a 14mm class 10.9 bolt, those are such wimpy pieces of metal with only a measly 120,000 psi proof load. I can't imagine how something so flimsy could ever compare to a part that even isn't bolted on at all.....

BDS makes 1" and 2" kits, comes with alignment cams, and you can get their crappy shocks or not. But replacement 2" springs are relatively cheap, and are really the better way to go. There are a few brands where you can pick up just the springs, and patch together your own kit with the brands of shocks and junk you prefer.
