Thinking about getting this radiator

Does anyone have any info on this radiator? I think I may get it or the 3 row version.
Brand name is "Champion". Anyone ever used this brand? Any input would be appreciated.

Radiator

I bought one of the three row version. Made in china, good quality, fit nicely and I am 100% satisfied. I'll spray it flat black because I don't like that shiny rad showing behind the grill but that was my only issue. Don't think I paid that much?

Thanks, William
I think the 3 row is $250 now.
I wondered if it was from China and I also wondered if the natural aluminum would "stand out behind" my grille.
What year truck & engine do you have?

Doesn't look bad but for a couple hundred more you might be able to get a USA built Ron Davis radiator. Might be worth checking into anyway.

Rj, a 3 row is plenty for our wide open front trucks. Don't know anything about that brand, but seems you have a couple good endorsements on it.

Well an aluminum 3 row probably is but my stock style 3row isn't enough.

I would definately want to over do it instead of getting a new radiator that wasn't enough.

I bought a Griffin for a big-block 84 Mustang a decade ago & it was 2 one-inch rows, supposedly equal to or better than a typical 4 row.

Thanks everyone for your input.....

Sir, If I may, If a good 3 row rad in one of our trucks is not working properly, you have issues elsewhere. There is way more than enough air passing through it to cool it.

We have helped too many guys here over the years, that stated as you did. One we got them on the right path they changed their minds and became happy.

It doesn't surprise me that in the summer when the temp is in the 90s, my cooling system can't keep up because as far as I know Ford never paired a 460 with this "regular" size radiator from the factory, and the factory truck 460s were @8:1 compression, low output engines. My 460 donor truck's "super cooling" radiator was too far gone to try.

RJ, Ya got you mind made up, and are bent on a new huge honking radiator, so go for it. Bigger is always better.

Randy, I answered your PM but I am not sure it worked. I struggle with computers. Mine is a 460 with flat tops, D3's, stock truck manifolds, Edelbrock 750 on a Edelbrock performer, hydraulic RV camshaft, DUI HEI 10 initial 22 total all in by 2500 rpm for a total advance around 32 degrees. C6 Xmsn, steel truck fan with clutch and no shroud. Never gets hot, 185 thermostat. I live on the northern edge of the Mojave very warm in summer!

I think I paid $80 for a 1976 300I6 radiator for my 65 240ci and with 20 mins of steel brackets it looks and fits great.
