I was wondering what year did ford go from inside nubs to outside for there hub caps. I found a set of 16in 5 hole with the outside nubs with ford logo stamped on them

This has come up before and frustrates me because my wheel references don't give a clean answer to the question. The 1965 date is probably correct because the first reference I have that specifically shows external hub cap nubs on half tons is 1966. This has come up before and IIRC Number Dummy had a reference for it. Stu
