Over Drive Light Speed sensor????

Over Drive Light Speed sensor????
I have a friend that has a Early 99 with auto trany. His OD light flashes or stays on. Then the Speed dial stops working or jumps around. last time this happened I pulled a fuse not real sure at this time which one and a moduel reset and it was fine. This was several months ago. then again since where getting rain he says its happening again. I have found if I am correct 3 yes Three different speed sensors. 2 on the trany one on the hog of the rear end. Help what do I look for?

The usual culprit is the VSS/ABS sensor in the top of rear differential housing. Have you pulled the codes yet?
I bought the sensor for wife's exploder for less than $20 at a parts store.

First remove the sensor on top of the rearend and just clean it .. reinstall and try it.. If that doesn't fix it... replace the sensor.. go to napa and ask for p/n 530780.. about $12.
