You know I wonder if that's what I have been hearing on my truck too. I never thought it might be that GPR. I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago and now when it is glowing, but not running, I do hear a faint hum coming from under the hood. Almost sounds like an electric fuel pump, but obviously that's not the case on my truck. I never noticed it before the GPR109 went in. I'll have to take a closer look!

sorry for dragging this up but I just put on a napa gpr-109 and it's making a buzzing sound.....works fine and carries all the power across it.

Mine doesn't buzz really it just sorta "rings". I can hear it from the cab if it is quiet outside, but I can definitely hear it from the front of the truck. There were a couple other who said theirs made some noises as well. I'm not going to worry about it as long as it is working. And if it quits, I'll buy a Stancor relay.
